Vision
To weave together Indigenous knowledge, arts, health, and food sovereignty into a sustainable future where Indigenous communities thrive in cultural strength, economic freedom, and intergenerational well-being.
Mission
Hakuum Inc. uplifts Indigenous voices and innovation through three connected streams — arts and cultural storytelling, Indigenous health and anti-racism consulting, and kelp-based food sovereignty initiatives. Guided by Nuu-chah-nulth teachings, we create spaces of healing, empowerment, and prosperity rooted in love, respect, and interconnectedness.
Core Values
Hupiiʔiicstał (Taking Care) | Sustainability

ʔUuyʔiiʔiiʔaƛ (Give to One Another) | Cultural Integrity
We integrate cultural teachings, language, and ceremony into business practices, protecting and amplifying Nuu-chah-nulth ways of being.

We innovate with care and creativity, blending technology and tradition to deliver excellence in health consulting, arts, and sustainable aquaculture.
ʔUuyʔiiʔiiʔał (Helping One Another) | Community Empowerment
We create opportunities for Indigenous youth, artists, and knowledge holders by providing jobs, mentorship, and pathways to leadership.
ʔIisakstał (Standing in Respect) | Sovereignty
We respect self-determination by supporting food sovereignty, Indigenous health leadership, and cultural safety across all projects.
Hišukʔiš c̓awak (Everything is Interconnected) | Collaboration & Partnerships
We recognize that success is collective. By building partnerships with Nations, organizations, and global allies, we create impact that extends beyond borders.
